Formerly Bluegrass Video Taping Services, now Bluegrass Video, was started in 1982 to provide video transfer and duplication services to Louisville metro area homes and businesses. Videotaping services followed shortly to cover individual and business events such as weddings, parties and corporate meetings. Through the years, Bluegrass Video has worked to maintain its goal of quality video production and complete customer satisfaction. Whether it’s a commercial, corporate or small business video or just a family photo montage, Bluegrass Video strives to provide professional quality and a satisfying experience on each and every project.
Steve Hines – Owner
Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Steve has always been interested in film and video. As a graduate of Trinity High School and the University of Kentucky, Steve began his 20+ year career in video as a freelance cameraman with ESPN, CBS and NBC covering local and national sporting events. Locally, he worked for both WAVE and WHAS-TV in their production departments before advancing into the computer edit suite at WHAS where he edited commercial production, corporate films and station promotions.
Acquiring Bluegrass Video in October, 2006 marked a return to video production for Steve after successful careers outside of video production. Steve brings his personal editing skills as well as production and directing experience to help provide both direction and style to every project that Bluegrass Video undertakes.
